My Calling Rooted in Empathy

My work as a wellness coach is guided by a deep desire to help others live their best lives. For me, this path is all about empathy, compassion, and creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

I take a holistic approach to wellness coaching. Life is never one-dimensional, and I believe true growth comes from honoring the interconnectedness of mind, body, relationships, and environment. My work extends across individuals, couples, children, families, people with disabilities, and even canines. I also partner with businesses and organizations to reduce stress, improve communication, and foster healthier, conflict-free workplaces.

Supporting Families, Individuals, and Communities

I partner closely with families to build stronger connections, nurture growth, and create homes where trust and collaboration thrive. My work has taken me into diverse family systems—supporting children with autism, working with individuals who have attachment disorders or PTSD, and guiding families navigating dissociative disorders or trauma histories.

What I bring to these relationships is both compassion and practicality. I believe in holding space for emotion while also offering actionable tools and strategies. Families often tell me they appreciate the balance I provide: being a calm anchor in difficult times while also giving them clear steps forward.

Corporate Wellness & Workplace Transformation

I also bring my coaching into the workplace. Businesses today face constant stressors, from communication breakdowns to team conflict. I love helping organizations find ways to heal, rebuild trust, and develop cultures where employees feel valued and leaders are empowered.

In corporate settings, I help teams:

  • Reduce stress through awareness and regulation strategies

  • Repair relationships between management and staff

  • Foster collaboration and shared responsibility

  • Prevent conflict through proactive problem-solving

My goal in these environments is to build cohesive, productive teams that can succeed together without unnecessary tension.

Military Spouse Experience: Lessons in Resilience & Leadership

My journey has also been deeply shaped by my time as a military spouse. I actively participated in the Key Spouse and Key Spouse Mentoring Program, and I completed Commander’s Spouse Training at Langley AFB, VA.

These experiences gave me a foundation in:

  • Active listening and empathy

  • Crisis response in high-stress moments

  • Resource navigation for families in need

  • Leadership, mentorship, and trust-building

  • Conflict resolution and cultural awareness

Living and working within the military community gave me firsthand knowledge of resilience, adaptability, and the importance of community support. These lessons inform every aspect of my work as a coach today.

Foster Care & Adoption: Compassion Through Complexity

I’ve also had the privilege of working extensively in foster care and adoption services. This work gave me a deep appreciation for the resilience of children and families navigating trauma and transition.

Through this, I’ve supported individuals experiencing autism, attachment disorders, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. These experiences sharpened my ability to meet people where they are, without judgment, and to guide them in creating strategies for healing, stability, and growth.

Coaching Through Sport: Lessons from the Ice

Another chapter in my journey was coaching ice hockey. Sports coaching taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of teamwork. On the ice, I learned how to motivate individuals, foster group cohesion, and lead people toward common goals.

These lessons translate directly into my coaching today. I encourage my clients—whether individuals, families, or teams—to approach challenges with the same perseverance, focus, and teamwork that athletes bring to their sport.

Advanced Education in Interpersonal Neurobiology

Beyond experience, I’ve sought out advanced training to deepen my expertise. I studied Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) through the Brain Institute with Dr. Daniel Siegel, a world-renowned author, professor, and clinician.

This training gave me evidence-based skills to help clients:

  • Strengthen emotional regulation

  • Build resilience

  • Deepen relationships

  • Create sustainable patterns of personal growth

I value the blend of science and compassion in my work. My background in IPNB allows me to combine a deep understanding of the brain and relationships with practical tools for everyday life.

Expertise in Canine Training & Family Dog Mediation

I also extend my work to canine companions, recognizing how important dogs are within family systems. In 2020, I graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy as a KPA Certified Training Partner, specializing in positive reinforcement training.

In 2023, I became licensed in Family Dog Mediation under the guidance of Kim Brophy, a world-renowned dog training expert. These certifications allow me to help families not only with human dynamics but also with the bonds they share with their dogs. By supporting clearer communication and positive interactions, I help families and their canines build healthier, happier lives together.

A Holistic Perspective on Wellness

What makes my approach unique is the integration of all these life experiences—military spouse mentorship, foster care, advanced education, sports coaching, and canine mediation—into a single holistic practice.

  • I support a wide range of needs:

  • Children learning emotional regulation

  • Couples rebuilding trust

  • Businesses facing workplace stress

  • Families improving their relationship with a dog

In each of these situations, I bring empathy, insight, and a commitment to helping clients create meaningful and lasting change.

My Mission and Vision

At the core of my work is a simple but powerful vision: to empower individuals, families, and organizations to build lives filled with balance, connection, and resilience.

Wellness is not about achieving perfection—it’s about cultivating the tools and inner resources to adapt, connect, and thrive even in the face of challenges. My mission is to walk alongside my clients as they build those capacities, offering both support and strategies for sustainable growth.

Every coaching session is an opportunity to create transformation. My hope is that clients leave our time together not just with practical tools but also with a renewed sense of hope and empowerment.

Let’s Connect

If you are seeking support—whether as an individual, family, or organization—I would love to connect with you. My approach is rooted in science, enriched by lived experience, and guided always by compassion.

Together, we can build resilience, strengthen connections, and create lasting change.
