Specializing in supporting individuals, couples, children, families, people with disabilities, and canines, Beckett partners closely with families and businesses alike to organize environments, improve relationships, and strengthen bonds. In the corporate setting, Beckett collaborates with management and employees to decrease stress, repair or build connections, and foster a team effort, creating cohesive and conflict-free workplaces.
Combining a diverse background as a military key spouse mentor Participation in the military’s Key Spouse and Key Spouse Mentoring Program, along with Commander’s Spouse Training at Langley AFB, VA, has developed a unique set of highly valuable skills they rely on as a wellness coach. These programs emphasize active listening, empathy, crisis response, and resource navigation—helping spouses support service members and their families through both everyday challenges and high-stress situations. Training in mentorship and leadership fosters the ability to build trust, facilitate open communication, and create supportive networks. The experience also sharpens problem-solving, conflict resolution, and cultural awareness—key components in guiding individuals toward balanced lifestyles. These competencies, rooted in real-world military community engagement, directly translate into empowering clients, promoting resilience, and supporting holistic well-being as a wellness coach. Beckett brings a uniquely compassionate and informed perspective to wellness coaching, shaped by extensive experience in foster care and adoption services. This background provides a deep understanding of the complexities of personal growth, relationship dynamics, and organizational wellness, particularly when supporting individuals with autism, attachment disorders, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. Drawing on this expertise, Beckett designs tailored strategies that foster healing, resilience, and effective collaboration for both clients and teams. Beyond therapeutic coaching, she leverages leadership skills honed during her years as an ice hockey coach, inspiring teamwork, discipline, and a goal-oriented mindset that empowers individuals and organizations to thrive. In addition to the extensive training Beckett has already received, they have also undergone specialized education in Interpersonal Neurobiology through the Brain Institute, under the guidance of renowned author, university professor, and clinician Dr. Daniel Siegel. This advanced training provided Beckett with a deep understanding of the connections between mind, brain, and relationships, equipping them with evidence-based skills to foster personal growth, resilience, and emotional well-being. These insights, combined with their broader professional expertise, make Beckett an exceptionally skilled and insightful wellness coach, capable of guiding clients toward meaningful and lasting transformation.
Within the dog training profession Beckett graduated the Karen Pryor Academy in 2020 as a KPA Certified Training Partner and is an expert in the application of positive reinforcement techniques. Beckett holds a licensed in Family Dog Mediation since 2023, guided by world renowned dog training expert Kim Brophy. This further exemplifies Beckett’s compassionate and effective methods for enhancing communication and strengthening bonds both for individuals, families and canines.
